  • What is Price Drop Protection™ ?

    Price Drop Protection™ is a revolutionary program exclusive only to FlightNetwork® that allows you to lock in savings if the price of your Flight, Hotel or Vacation booking drops after you book. We believe that booking travel should be easy. It shouldn't leave you feeling anxious about whether or not you've booked at the right time to get the best deal. Whether you book months in advance or leave it to the last minute, you can book confidently knowing that you're covered by Price Drop Protection™.

  • What's important to know about Earning & Spending Price Drop Protection™ Dollars?

    The purpose of Price Drop Protection™ is to ensure that our valued customers always get the lowest prices from us. It is important to know a few key things.

    Earning Price Drops:

    General

    1. Price Drop Protection™ on Flights is applicable to new, confirmed bookings only made following the launch of the Price Drop Protection™ program, July 4 , 2011.
    2. Price Drop Protection™ on Vacation is applicable to new, confirmed bookings only made following the launch of the Price Drop Protection™ program, December 8 , 2011.
    3. Price Drop Protection™ on Hotels is applicable to new, confirmed bookings only made following the launch of the Price Drop Protection™ program, December 8 , 2011.
    4. Participants must hold, and be signed into, a valid My FlightNetwork® Account at the time of booking for any Flight, Hotel or Vacation Package to become eligible for Price Drop Protection™ savings.
    5. Price Drop Protection™ Dollars are only awarded to travelers and are traveler specific. Account holders can only earn Price Drop Protection™ Dollars if they are a traveler on the booking.
    6. Price Drop Protection™ Dollars expire 12 months from the date that they are awarded to your My FlightNetwork® Account.
    7. Price Drop Protection™ Dollars can only be earned if an identical itinerary can be found and the exact number of seats is available. For flights this means the travel supplier, airline, flight numbers, flight times, departure and destination cities all must be identical to the original flight purchased. For vacations this means the departure dates, flight times, airline carrier, flight number, tour operator supplier, resort/hotel and room type, meal plan type and applicable restrictions and/or conditions must be identical to the original vacation package purchased. For hotels this means the hotel, supplier, room category, number of days, check-in and check-out dates all must be identical to the original hotel booking purchased.
    8. My FlightNetwork® Account holders whom have grabbed a Price Drop Protection™ deal for the travellers on their booking will control the spending of Price Drop Protection™ Dollars for all travellers. If any travellers are split off of an original account and transferred to a valid My FlightNetwork® Account of their own, (by way of email request via My FlightNetwork®), Price Drop Protection™ Dollars accumulated will transfer over and no longer reside under the original account holders My FlightNetwork® Account.
    9. To qualify for a claim, Flight, Hotel and Vacation bookings must be confirmed and paid in full. Bookings held on option, or involuntary cancellations performed by the Airline or Tour Operator are not eligible for Price Drop Protection™.
    10. If a Flight, Hotel or Vacation booking has been changed, we will validate any Price Drops based on the new itinerary

    Flights

    1. Price Drop Protection™ on Flights is applicable to new, confirmed bookings only made following the launch of the Price Drop Protection™ program, July 4, 2011.
    2. Price Drop Protection™ is available on all economy class flights. Business class or first class flights are not eligible.
    3. Price Drop Protection™ is available on one-way, round-trip and multi-city itineraries.
    4. Price Drop Protection™ Dollars can only be earned if an identical itinerary can be found and the exact number of seats is available. For flights this means the travel supplier, airline, flight numbers, flight times, departure and destination cities all must be identical to the original flight purchased.
    5. Price Drop Protection™ on Domestic flights is unlimited and you can grab a deal up until the time your flight departs.
      I.e. Base purchase price $500, Price Drops to $300. Grab that deal and get $200 Price Drop Protection™ Dollars per person to spend on future Flight, Hotel, Vacation or Insurance bookings.
    6. Price Drop Protection™ on International and Trans-border flights is up to a maximum of $100 per person and you can grab a deal up until the time your flight departs.
      I.e. Base purchase price $500, Price Drops to $250. Grab that deal and get $100 Price Drop Protection™ Dollars per person to spend on future Flight, Hotel, Vacation or Insurance bookings.
    7. Price Drop Protection™ is eligible for Flights made both online at www.flightnetwork®.com and offline via the FlightNetwork® Call Center. A FlightNetwork® agent will notify you if the Flight you are booking is not Price Drop Protection™ eligible.
    8. The process for earning a Price Drop Deal on a Flight can only be done by the customer ONLINE via My FlightNetwork®.
    9. Price Drops for Flights are based on a decrease in the base fare only. If the taxes drop, it is not considered a Price Drop and a credit will not be awarded to you. Price Drops can be grabbed up until the time your flight departs.
    10. Price Drop Protection™ Dollars expire 12 months from the date that they are awarded to your My FlightNetwork® Account.
    11. Infants are eligible to earn Price Drop Protection™ Dollars on Flights only if they have paid a base fare.

    Vacations

    1. Price Drop Protection™ on Vacation is applicable to new, confirmed bookings only made following the launch of the Price Drop Protection™ program, December 8, 2011.
    2. Price Drop Protection™ Dollars can only be earned if an identical itinerary can be found and the exact number of seats is available. For vacations this means the departure dates, flight times, airline carrier, flight number, tour operator supplier, resort/hotel and room type, meal plan type and applicable restrictions and/or conditions must be identical to the original vacation package purchased.
    3. Price Drop Protection™ on Vacation Packages is unlimited. Price Drops on Vacation Packages cannot be claimed within 31 days prior to departure.
      I.e. Total Purchase (Base + Taxes) price $800, Price Drops to $600. Grab that deal and get $200 Price Drop Protection™ Dollars per adult to spend on future Flight, Vacation or Insurance bookings.
    4. Price Drop Protection™ is eligible Vacation Packages made both online at www.flightnetwork®.com and offline via the FlightNetwork® Call Center. A FlightNetwork® agent will notify you if the Vacation Package you are booking is not Price Drop Protection™ eligible.
    5. The process for earning a Price Drop Deal on a Vacation Package can only be done by the customer via the Vacation Price Drop Protection™ Claim email provided.
    6. Price Drops for Vacations are based on a decrease in the total fare. If the base fare or the taxes drop, it is considered a Price Drop, once verified and you will receive your credit. Price Drops on Vacation packages cannot be claimed within 31 days prior to departure.
    7. Price Drops on Vacation packages cannot be claimed for prices that incorporate children base fares, children taxes, or any additional options purchased at the time of booking;
    8. Price Drop Protection™ Dollars expire 12 months from the date that they are awarded to your My FlightNetwork® Account.

    Hotels

    1. Price Drop Protection™ on Hotels is applicable to new, confirmed bookings only made following the launch of the Price Drop Protection™ program, December 8, 2011.
    2. Price Drop Protection™ is available on all hotels, bookable online on FlightNetwork®.com;
    3. Price Drop Protection™ Dollars can only be earned if an identical itinerary can be found is available. For hotels this means the hotel, supplier, room category, number of days, check-in and check-out dates all must be identical to the original hotel booking purchased.
    4. The Price Drop Protection™ Dollars which may be obtained by selecting a Price Drop on Hotels is unlimited. For example, if the total base price (before taxes) was $500 and the total base price drops to $400, a Participant can select the Price Drop in the manner outlined in these Terms and Conditions and obtain $100 Price Drop Protection™ Dollars which can be applied towards the purchase price of future flights, hotels, vacation packages or insurance purchased through FlightNetwork®'s on-line booking service;
    5. The process for selecting a Price Drop for a Hotel and for applying Price Drop Protection™ Dollars towards purchases can only be done by a Participant online through the Participant's My FlightNetwork® Account;
    6. The amount of a Price Drop on a hotel is based on the decrease in the total base price only. A decrease in any tax, fee or surcharge applicable to any hotel sold through FlightNetwork® is not a Price Drop and Price Drop Protection™ Dollars cannot be obtained on account of any decrease in taxes, fees or surcharges;
    7. If a hotel booking is changed, FlightNetwork® will review and validate any Price Drops which have been selected on the basis of the new itinerary;
    8. For hotel bookings, Price Drop checks can only be performed prior to the check-in date. Once a Participant's check-in date has arrived, a Participant is no longer eligible for Price Drop Protection™;
    9. For Hotels, Price Drop Protection™ Dollars are awarded to the First Named Traveller and not the Primary My FlightNetwork® Account holder;
    10. Price Drop Protection™ Dollars are only applicable per room, multiple Price Drop Protection™ Dollars are not permitted in the same reservation;
    11. Price Drop Protection™ Dollars expire 12 months from the date that they are awarded to your My FlightNetwork® Account.

    Spending Price Drops:

    1. You must be signed in to a My FlightNetwork® Account at the time of redemption in order to apply any available Price Drop Protection™ Dollars to a new Flight, Hotel, Vacation or Insurance booking. This process can only be done by the customer ONLINE via My FlightNetwork®. Applying Price Drop Protection™ Dollars to a new Vacation booking CANNOT be done ONLINE. You must call us at 1-877-496-4813.
    2. Price Drop Protection™ Dollars can be applied towards Flight, Hotel, Vacation and Insurance base prices only
    3. Price Drop Protection™ Dollars cannot be applied towards taxes, fees or surcharges
    4. Price Drop Protection™ Dollars can be applied in conjunction with Price Match Guarantee as well as coupon codes
    5. Price Drop Protection™ Dollars cannot be transferred, shared or pooled between travellers.
  • What travel products are eligible for Price Drop Protection™ ?

    All economy class Flights Bookings are Price Drop Protected (One-way, multi-city, round-trip), all Hotel Bookings and all Vacation Packages, bookable on FlightNetwork®.com are Price Drop Protected (any occupancy).

    We protect the following travel products for the following amounts:

    When you book a Domestic flight, your Price Drop Protection™ is unlimited and you can grab a deal up until the time your flight departs. There is no cap. You're protected for the entire base amount of your purchase.

    I.e. Base purchase price $500, Price Drops to $300. Grab that deal and get $200 Price Drop Protection™ Dollars per person to spend on future Flight, Hotel, Vacation or Insurance bookings.

    When you book an International or Trans-border flight, you're Price Drop protected up to a maximum of $100 per person and you can grab a deal up until the time your flight departs.

    I.e. Base purchase price $500, Price Drops to $250. Grab that deal and get $100 Price Drop Protection™ Dollars per person to spend on future Flight, Hotel, Vacation or Insurance bookings.

    When you book any Vacation Package your Price Drop Protection™ is unlimited. Price Drops on Vacation packages cannot be claimed within 31 days prior to departure.

  • How do I know how many Price Drop Protection™ Dollars I have?

    Just sign into your My FlightNetwork® Account. We'll show you the number of Price Drop Protection™ Dollars that you and your travellers have to spend in the top right hand corner.

  • How do I check Price Drop Protection™ balances for my family & friends?

    When you book a Flight or Vacation Package for you and additional travellers you're all eligible for Price Drop Protection™. Because you've booked for your travellers, you can also earn them Price Drop savings. All travellers will be set up individually under your My FlightNetwork® Account. Any balances will appear under Manage My Profile in your My FlightNetwork® Account. Spend Price Drop Protection™ Dollars immediately on future Flight, Vacation or Insurance bookings for you and your travellers. For Hotel Bookings the First Named Traveller is the only person that will receive Price Drop Protection™ Dollars if the price of the Hotel Booking drops.

  • Do my Price Drop Protection™ Dollars expire?

    Yes, Price Drop Protection™ Dollars expire 12 months (1 year) from the time you earn them.

  • How do I know when my Price Drop Protection™ Dollars expire?

    As soon as Price Drop Protection™ Dollars are earned and have been added to your My FlightNetwork® Account, you will see the expiration date under Manage My Profile. You can view your Price Drop Protection™ Transaction History in your My FlightNetwork® Account at any time under the Price Drop Protection™ tab by clicking on My Transactions. In addition, we will also send a Transaction Balance statement to all My FlightNetwork® Account Holders at the end of every month which will include your expiration dates.

  • How do I check My Price Drop Protection™ balance?

    If your Flight or Hotel is eligible for Price Drop Protection™, any Price Drop Dollars earned will be added to your My FlightNetwork® Account immediately. If your Vacation Package is eligible for Price Drop Protection™, any Price Drops are first verified and then manually added to your My FlightNetwork® Account. You can spend your Price Drop Dollars right away on future Flight, Hotel, Vacation or Insurance bookings. You can see details of your earnings under the Price Drop Protection™ tab by clicking on My Transactions in your My FlightNetwork® Account.

  • When are my Price Drop Protection™ Dollars deducted from My FlightNetwork® Account?

    If you have spent your Price Drop Protection™ Dollars on a new Flight, Hotel, Vacation Package or Insurance booking they will be deducted from your My FlightNetwork® Account immediately. You can see the details of your spending under the Price Drop Protection™ tab. Click on My Transactions.

  • What if I've received my Price Drop Protection™ Dollars but my flight, hotel or vacation price drops again?

    You can check for Price Drops as many times as you like but, you can only grab a Price Drop deal ONCE.

  • Can I apply my Price Drop Protection™ Dollars to taxes, fees or penalties?

    No. Price Drop Protection™ Dollars cannot be applied towards taxes, fees or surcharges, only to the base ticket price.

  • What does PDP mean?

    If you see this image next to your Flight, Hotel or Vacation Package this means that what you're about to purchase offers Price Drop Protection™. Click on this image to see how much you're protected for. For Flights, we could be protecting you for an unlimited amount or up to a maximum of $100 per person. For Vacations and Hotels, you're protected for an unlimited amount.

    FlightNetwork® cannot predict if the base price of a Flight, Hotel or Vacation Package will drop which is why we've created the Price Drop Protection™ program. Because inventory and pricing are controlled by the Airlines and Tour Operators, it is up to them when and if a price drop will occur. FlightNetwork® has no advance notice of when these drops will happen.

    If the price of your Flight, Hotel or Vacation Package hasn't changed or has gone up, check again at a later time.

    REMEMBER: You can check for Price Drops as many times as you like but you can only grab a Price Drop deal ONCE.

  • I saw a Price Drop on my booking but didn't grab the deal. I just checked again and it's gone up? Can you honour the earlier price?

    No. Because inventory and pricing are controlled by the Airlines and Tour Operators, it is up to them when and if a price drop will occur. FlightNetwork® has no advance notice of when these drops will happen and prices can go up or down at any time.

  • I have a coupon code. Can I use this in conjunction with my Price Drop Protection™ Dollars?

    Yes. A coupon code can be applied in conjunction with Price Drop Protection™ Dollars when redeeming for both Flight, Hotel, and Vacation bookings.

  • Can a price match guarantee be applied in conjunction with my Price Drop Protection™ Dollars?

    Yes. A price match guarantee can be applied in conjunction with Price Drop Protection™ Dollars when redeeming for both Flight, Hotel, and Vacation bookings.

  • I just made a booking with FlightNetwork®. All travellers on my booking are now under My FlightNetwork® Account. Is that normal?

    Yes, it's normal. Because the original Flight or Vacation booking was made under your My FlightNetwork® Account, you now control both the earning and spending of any Price Drops for your sub-travellers.

    If you have grabbed a deal, you are grabbing that deal for yourself as well as any travellers in your account. You also now control their Price Drop Protection™ Dollars and only you can spend it for them.

    If you don't want to be in charge of spending Price Drop Protection™ Dollars for them, travellers can also be split off of your My FlightNetwork® Account onto an existing My FlightNetwork® Account.

  • I've made a booking and received Price Drop Protection™ Dollars for my family & friends. How do they spend them?

    You can spend Price Drop Protection™ Dollars for you and your family & friends. Just sign into your My FlightNetwork® Account before you make your booking and select the travellers that are redeeming from the payment page.

    You can also split family & friends off of your account if they have their own My FlightNetwork® Account.

    Here's what you would do:

    Step 1: Sign into your My FlightNetwork® Account
    Step 2: Go to Manage My Profile
    Step 3: Click "edit" beside the traveller that you wish to split off
    Step 4: At the bottom of the travellers page click the link that says "Email us to transfer a sub-traveller and their Rewards to their own My FlightNetwork® Account".

    In the email, send us the travellers first and last name and the email address used to sign into their existing My FlightNetwork® Account.

    Step 5: We'll verify the details provided and complete the transfer
    Step 6: The recipient will receive their accumulated Rewards in their My FlightNetwork® Account as well as an email confirmation.

  • I've made a Price Drop Protected booking for myself and my friends. If I delete them as sub-travellers from My FlightNetwork® Account can I still get Price Drop Protection™ for myself?

    Yes. For example, if you've purchased a Price Drop Protected Flight or Vacation Package for yourself and 2 friends under your My FlightNetwork® Account, and you delete those 2 friends, you can still receive Price Drop Protection™ for yourself however, the Price Drop check will be based on the original number of passengers (3) on the booking and only the remaining sub-travellers will be able to earn Price Drop Protection™ Dollars. For hotels, you can still receive Price Drop Protection™ Dollars for yourself, as long as you are the First Named traveler on the booking.

  • I've made a Price Drop Protected booking for myself and my friend. If my friend cancels/changes his/her portion of the booking, can I still get Price Drop Protection™ for myself?

    Yes. For example, if you've purchased a Price Drop Protected Flight or Vacation Package for you and a friend under your My FlightNetwork® Account, and your friend cancels his/her booking you can still receive Price Drop Protection™ for yourself. The Price Drop check will be based on the new number of passengers (1) on the booking and only you will be able to earn Price Drop Protection™ Dollars. For hotels, you can still receive Price Drop Protection™ Dollars for yourself, as long as you are the First Named traveler on the booking.

  • Why can't the FlightNetwork® Call Center assist me with earning or spending My Price Drop Protection™ Dollars?

    This is a requirement of the Price Drop Protection™ Program. FlightNetwork® can however assist you with making a booking for any Flight or Vacation Package that is Price Drop Protected.

    New Flight bookings: FlightNetwork® cannot earn or spend your Price Drop Protection™ Dollars for you. The Price Drop Protection™ program requires you to complete these 2 transactions ONLINE via My FlightNetwork®.

    New Vacation bookings: FlightNetwork® cannot earn your Price Drop Protection™ Dollars for you as the Price Drop Protection™ program requires you to complete this transaction via the Vacation Price Drop Protection™ Claim email provided, however, we can assist you with spending your Price Drop Protection™ Dollars as this functionality is currently not available to you ONLINE. Please call us at 1-877-496-4813 to apply your Price Drop Dollars to a new Vacation Package.

    New Hotel bookings: FlightNetwork® cannot earn or spend your Price Drop Protection™ Dollars for you. The Price Drop Protection™ program requires you to complete these 2 transactions ONLINE via My FlightNetwork®.

  • Do I have to report my Price Drop Protection™ Dollars as extra income to the government?

    Each participant of the Price Drop Protection™ program is responsible to report their own earning income from all sources to the required government bodies. FlightNetwork® will assume no responsibility for personal assessments with regards to a customer's participation in the FlightNetwork® Price Drop Protection™ Program.

  • I have $200 Price Drop Protection™ Dollars in My FlightNetwork® Account but they're for my friends & family. Can I spend them if they're under My Account?

    No. Price Drop Protection™ Dollars can only be spent by those that accumulate them. They cannot be transferred, shared or pooled.

    Step 3. Check your booking for Price Drops online (under My Trips in your my FlightNetwork® Account) as many times as you like.
    Step 4. If the Price Drops, grab the deal! You can only grab it ONCE.

  • What is considered a Domestic flight?

    A Domestic flight is:

    Book from anywhere in Canada to anywhere in Canada

  • What is considered an International flight?
    An International flight is:

    (a) When you're booking from Canada to anywhere outside of North America
    (b) You're booking from the United States and traveling from anywhere in Canada to anywhere outside of North America
    (c) You're booking from anywhere outside of North America and traveling from anywhere in Canada to anywhere outside of North America
  • What is considered a Trans-border flight?

    A Trans-border flight is:

    (a) When you're booking from Canada to anywhere in the United States
    (b) You're booking from the United States and traveling from anywhere in Canada to anywhere in the United States
    (c) You're booking from anywhere outside of North America and traveling from anywhere in Canada to anywhere in the United States

  • What is the difference between Chartered and Scheduled Air and how does this apply to Price Drop Protection™?

    Charter fares are purchased in bulk by tour operators and are offered as discounted flights that do not permit changes or cancellations. Scheduled fares are flights priced and scheduled directly by the airline and are not contracted by tour operators or other 3rd party entities. Price Drop Protection™ is specific to the fare type, meaning that a Price Drop check will compare the airline, flight and base price of the booked charter fare to a current charter fare using the same airline and flights.

  • How do I view My Past Flight Bookings in My FlightNetwork® Account?

    To view past Flight bookings made with FlightNetwork® see My Trips in your My FlightNetwork® Account.

    IMPORTANT: If you were not logged into My FlightNetwork® when you made your booking, your flight will not appear under My Trips nor will your flight be eligible for Price Drop Protection™.

  • Does it need to be the exact same flight itinerary to receive a Price Drop Protection™ credit?

    Yes. Based on the original booking, Price Drops will only occur when an identical itinerary can be found and the exact number of seats is available.

    Travel supplier, Airline, flight numbers, flight times, departure and destination cities all must be identical to the original flight purchased.

  • How do I check for Price Drops on my Flight?

    To check for Price Drops on your flight see My Trips in your My FlightNetwork® Account.

    You will see Check for Price Drop Savings next to all flights that are eligible for Price Drop Protection™.

  • I booked a Price Drop Protected Flight with your Call Centre but I don't see my booking in My FlightNetwork® Account?

    Flight bookings that are made over the telephone, also referred to as "offline" bookings, do qualify for Price Drop Protection™ however, bookings made offline "manually" using a booking system outside of www.FlightNetwork®.com are not Price Drop Protected. If this is the case, you will be notified ahead of time by your FlightNetwork® Call Center Agent.

    Bookings made by our Call Centre agents that are eligible will appear under My Trips in your My FlightNetwork® Account just as bookings made online would.   • What happens if my Flight is cancelled by the Airline? Am I still eligible for Price Drop Protection™?

    Changes made by the Airline are unforeseen and out of our control. If the Airline has changed your flight, FlightNetwork® will validate and honour any Price Drops based on the new Flight itinerary. However, if a flight has been cancelled by the Airline it is instantly removed from My Trips in your My FlightNetwork® Account and is no longer eligible for Price Drop Protection™.

  • I just grabbed a Price Drop. Do the other travellers on My FlightNetwork® Account get the same credit?

    If all travellers on the original Flight are Adults then yes, the Price Drop would be the same for all. If a child or infant are present on the original booking they could drop at a different amount than an Adult. Before you grab a deal you will be able to see the amount that each traveller's price has dropped.

  • What if I need to change my booking, how does this affect my Price Drop Protection™ Dollars?

    In most cases, tickets are non-refundable and non-changeable however, some airlines will allow changes for a fee. These fees can range from $100 - $500 plus any difference in fare.

    You can change a booking where Price Drop Protection™ have been earned and/or spent without it affecting your Price Drop Protection™ Dollars.

    If your flight is voluntarily changed before you've accepted Price Drops on your original booking, FlightNetwork® will now validate any Price Drops based on the new/changed booking.

  • What happens if my flight is changed by the Airline? Am I still eligible for Price Drop Protection™?

    Changes made by the Airline are unforeseen and out of our control. If the Airline has changed your flight, FlightNetwork® will validate and honour any Price Drops based on the new Flight itinerary.     A vacation package is defined as a product that is booked through Flightnetwork®'s vacations engine where the price includes lodging, flights, entertainment, recreational activities, gratuities, some or all drinks and meals, and occasionally transportation. It is not applicable on any single components combined and sold separately. All vacation packages are provided by one of the following suppliers: Sunwing Vacations, Sunquest Vacations, Transat Holidays, Noli Tours, Signature Vacations, WestJet Vacations, Hola Sun, Caribe Sol, Tours Mont-Royal and Air Canada Vacations.

    The lower advertised price must be found on the exact same Vacation Package, including without limitation the following components: departure dates and flight times, airline carrier and flight number, tour operator supplier, resort/hotel and room type, meal plan type and applicable restrictions and/or conditions.

  • How do I check for Price Drops on my Vacation Package?

    The process for Price Drop Protection™ on Vacation Packages is slightly different than Flights. Price Drops for Vacation Bookings cannot be done online through your My FlightNetwork® account and you will not see those bookings appearing as you would with Flights.

    Here's how it works:

Therefore, you can no longer use this email to check for Price Drops. If you feel you qualify for Price Drop Protection™ Dollars on your vacation package, please call us at 1-877-496-4813 so we may capture the current pricing of your package and verify if you qualify for Price Drop Protection™ Dollars.

  • If I need to cancel my Vacation Booking, how does this affect my Price Drop Protection™ Dollars?

    Depending on the time that your booking is cancelled, Vacation Packages could be 100% non-refundable, partially refundable or fully refundable.

    Rules to cancel Vacation bookings are the same for all. Remember, FlightNetwork® cancellation penalties do apply.

    1. If your original Vacation booking is cancelled, any Price Drop Protection™ Dollars earned on the basis of your cancelled booking will be reversed.
    2. If Price Drop Protection™ Dollars earned on the basis of your cancelled booking are spent FlightNetwork® will manually remove any Price Drop Protection™ Dollars earned. If Price Drop Protection™ Dollars are not available to be removed from your My FlightNetwork® Account a charge to the original purchasing credit card may be made.
    3. If Price Drop Protection™ Dollars have been credited to a My FlightNetwork® Account, you have applied those Dollars and then cancelled the new booking to which the Price Drop Protection™ Dollars were applied, FlightNetwork® will manually add any unused Price Drop Protection™ Dollars back to your My FlightNetwork® account.

    Based on hotel policies during the booking process, some hotels may be non-refundable or partially refundable. There is also a FlightNetwork® cancellation fee that will apply to all cancellations.

    If a booking in respect of which Price Drop Protection™ Dollars were obtained and/or applied is cancelled, FlightNetwork® will reverse the original transaction for the Participant and each Named Traveler whose booking is cancelled. Any such reversal will be identified as an "Account Adjustment" in the Participant's My FlightNetwork® Account and will also be reflected in their monthly balance email.

    If a hotel booking is voluntarily or involuntarily cancelled prior to selecting a Price Drop on the original booking, a Price Drop cannot be selected in respect of that hotel.

    A Participant can cancel a booking where Price Drop Protection™ Dollars have been obtained and / or applied, however, this will result in the reversal of the original Price Drop Protection™ Dollars obtained or applied, as the case may be.

  • I just grabbed a Price Drop. Do the other travellers on My FlightNetwork® Account get the same credit?

    No. The First Named Traveller on the booking is the only one that will receive the Price Drop Protection™ Dollars.

  • What if I need to change my booking, how does this affect my Price Drop Protection™ Dollars?

    If a hotel is voluntarily or involuntarily changed prior to the selection of a Price Drop in respect of the original booking, FlightNetwork® will permit a Price Drop to be selected solely on the basis of the updated booking.

    A Participant can change a booking where Price Drop Protection™ Dollars have been obtained and/or applied, but the Price Drop Protection™ Dollar balance will be adjusted to cancel any Price Drop which had been selected by the Participant both on the Participant's own behalf and on behalf of all Named Travellers whose booking is changed.

  • I applied my Price Drop Protection™ Dollars but was charged the total amount of the booking on my credit card. Why is that?

    FlightNetwork® cannot make a discounted payment to the Airline or Tour Operator. Unfortunately, they require full payment from us at the time of booking. Because of this, you will see a charge for the total amount of your booking up-front and any Price Drop Protection™ Dollars applied as a discount. Price Drop Protection™ Dollars are refunded instantly to the purchasing card. This transaction happens at the same time the credit card is charged. It could take up to 3-5 business days for the booking transactions to appear on the purchasing credit card.

  • I haven't received my Price Drop Protection™ Refund yet?

    It could take up to 3-5 business days for the booking transactions to appear on the purchasing credit card.

    IMPORTANT: You may receive one or more charges that total the amount of your Flight or Vacation purchase as well as a refund from FlightNetwork® for any Price Drop Protection™ Dollars applied.

  • I have $80 Price Drop Protection™ Dollars but I can only apply $25. Why is that?

If the base price of any of these is only $25, then you can only apply a maximum of $25 Price Drop Protection™ Dollars to your booking even if you have $80 Price Drop Protection™ Dollars in your account.

  • How do I log into My FlightNetwork®?

    Price Drop Protection™ accounts are accessible through the My FlightNetwork® and My Trips links located at the top right hand corner of the FlightNetwork® website. Once logged in, click on keep me signed in so that we remember you each time you visit us.

  • How do I access the Price Drop Protection™ Dollars in My FlightNetwork® Account?

    Details of your Price Drop Protection™ Dollars can be found in the My Trips and My Transactions tabs of your My FlightNetwork® Account. In the My Trips tab you'll find all of your past FlightNetwork® Flight bookings including those eligible for Price Drop Protection™. In the My Transactions tab you will find detailed information on credits applied, credits used, times, dates and more. At this time, past Vacation bookings will not appear in your My FlightNetwork® Account.

  • How do I update my name in My FlightNetwork® Account?

    FlightNetwork® doesn't permit name changes to My FlightNetwork® Accounts however, exceptions for legal name changes can be made. Please email us or contact us at 1-877-496-4813.

    FlightNetwork® doesn't permit email changes to My FlightNetwork® Accounts to be done online. Please email us or contact us at 1-877-496-4813 for further information.

  • How do I split family & friends off of My FlightNetwork® Account?

    If you don't want to be responsible for spending accumulated Price Drop Protection™ Dollars for your sub-travellers, you can split family & friends off of your account if they have an existing My FlightNetwork® Account.

    Here's all you would do:

    Step 1: Sign into your My FlightNetwork® Account
    Step 2: Go to Manage My Profile
    Step 3: Scroll to the bottom of the page. Click "edit" beside the traveller that you wish to split off
    Step 4: Click the link that says "Email us to transfer a sub-traveller and their Rewards to their own My FlightNetwork® Account".

    In the email, send us the travellers first and last name and the email address used to sign into their existing My FlightNetwork® Account.

    Step 4: We'll verify the details provided and complete the transfer
    Step 5: The recipient will receive their accumulated Rewards in their My FlightNetwork® Account as well as an email confirmation.

  • How do I delete family & friends from My FlightNetwork® Account?

    To delete family & friends from your My FlightNetwork® Account visit Manage My Profile, select the My Travellers Information link at the top of the page and click on the delete traveller link beside the traveller.

    IMPORTANT: : If you delete a traveller, any Price Drop Protection™ balances earned, potential Price Drops as well as any saved data will be deleted. This action cannot be undone.

  • How do I edit the booking information for family & friends in My FlightNetwork® Account?

    To edit information for family & friends see Manage My Profile in your My FlightNetwork® Account, select the My Travellers Information link at the top of the page and click on the edit info link beside the appropriate traveller. Make the updates and save your changes.

  • How do I update the emails I receive from FlightNetwork®?

    Having a My FlightNetwork® Account allows you to control the emails you receive from us. To update these emails, see Manage My Profile and select the My Email Subscriptions link at the top of the page. Here you can subscribe, unsubscribe or change the email lists your currently on.

  • How do I access my Price Pager Account?

    My FlightNetwork® is your link to Price Pager as well as Price Drop Protection™. Price Pager Alerts are accessible through Manage My Profile in your My FlightNetwork® Account however, with the release of Price Drop Protection™, you will no longer have the ability to track new flights. Any pre-existing flights that have been tracked will appear under your Alerts.

    With the release of Price Drop Protection™ you will no longer be given the ability to track a flight with Price Pager. Any pre-existing flights that have been tracked will appear in your Alerts and can be found under Manage My Profile. Click on the My Email Subscriptions link at the top of the page.

  • How do I delete my FlightNetwork® Account?

    To delete your My FlightNetwork® Account visit Manage My Profile and click on the Delete My Account link at the bottom of the page.

    If you delete your Account, your balance and any sub-traveller balances along with all of your saved data will also be deleted. This action cannot be undone.

  • How do I use my Price Drop Protection™ Dollars to purchase Travel Insurance?

    Price Drop Protection™ Dollars can easily be applied to a Travel Insurance booking. Here's how it works:

    Step 1: Make sure you're signed into your My FlightNetwork® Account
    Step 2: Enter your FlightNetwork® booking confirmation number and continue to the final payment page
    Step 3: Any available credits will appear beside each travellers name, select use or don't use
    Step 4: Continue with the booking and complete
    Step 5: The selected travellers will receive their discount to the purchasing credit card immediately

    IMPORTANT: You can only purchase Travel Insurance ONLINE if you have a confirmed FlightNetwork® Flight or Vacation booking. Also, the process for earning and redeeming Price Drops must be done by the customer ONLINE via My FlightNetwork®.

  • Why can't I see my past Insurance bookings in My FlightNetwork® Account?

    At this time we're only capturing Flight booking data in My FlightNetwork® Accounts. We are however, working on capturing Vacation Package as well as Insurance booking data. We'll hope to have this feature available to you soon.
